Education and outreach

Workshops, especially with young upcoming composers forms a vital part of our work.

Recent events include a week-long collaboration with the new Orkney Composers' Course, culminating in a concert conducted by those on the Orkney Conducting Course.

Specific workshops we have offered in the past include:

a session for Conductors
a session on writing for the voice, with Natalie Raybould
continual workshopping of works in progress

Kreisler Ensemble also collaborated with Sounds Underground for a composers workshop in the Holywell Music Room Oxford, led by Robert Saxton.

Five works of young composers from the Oxford area were chosen. The day culminated in an informal concert of the pieces. Nirmali Fenn´s Jesters for woodwind trio was then performed in the Elisabeth Lutyens Anniversary Concert at the Warehouse.
