Matilda Hofman, conductor and artistic director.

Matilda's work as a conductor ranges widely, including opera and the symphonic repertoire as well as her keen interest in contemporary music.

She works in the United States, Canada and the UK. she was recently invited to conduct the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra in their New Music Festival, which was broadcast on CBC radio. She has been assistant conductor with Southbank Sinfonia and the Eastman Phliharmonia among others.

Matilda has studied with David Zinman as a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival, with Sir Colin Davis, Martyn Brabbins, and with Kurt Masur.
